Nick says he had 3 Christmas's this year and indeed he did. The weekend before the holiday Chris's family came to town and brought Nick the BEST PRESENT ever. A Wii. Daddy things it is pretty cool too and Nick has just as much fun watching Daddy play then playing himself so the sharing is working out well. Emily also enjoys watching the game and the guys. Some pics from their Xmas with the Pearce's.

Christmas at the our house was on Christmas day. The weather co-operated somewhat and we warmed to pool. The Pearce's arrived about 11:00 and we opened the presents then the neighbors came over for some swimming. It was very nice for all of us to be together and the boys had a great time in the water. It was a nice crowd. Cindy's whole family was here for the holiday and everyone joined us for a drink and snacks sitting around the pool, visiting and enjoying watching the boys. A nice crowd on a windy but beautiful day.
One of the unique "gifts" from that day was a gift card or Chris. I had 4 gift bags under the tree. All four had a couple gift cards in them. Also under the tree were two cards. One for Maggie and one for Nick from Auntie Mari. Again...gift cards in each. One day while John and I were out shopping Lucy decided to investigate and took all four bags and the two envelopes...dragged them down the hall to our bedroom...up on the bed. This is where she take ALL her forbidden "treasures" to chew on them. When we came in the door our hearts stopped. That is a lot of money in those gift cards. The good news in only one was toothed to death. An iTunes card for Chris. A card that does not need to be scanned in a machine someplace and luckily the important numbers needed to redeem it were NOT destroyed. Belows is a half way decent picture of the card.
The Wii may have been the top prize but Nick was in Awe of his Tribot from Gramma and Papa. Actually, we were all in awe. It is a neat toy and does so much. The lines that come out of him are hysterical. As you can see in the picture Lucy thought it was fun too as it rolled around the floor talking to her or shrieking at her. It was so funny it brought tears to my eyes. I need to ask Nick if I can borrow it to watch Emily. It can be set on "guard" mode. Once it is set to guard Emily if Lucy or anything else comes near Emily Tribot shrieks. That way I would know if Lucy goes near Emily to get in her licks. ROFL.

Miss Emily really could not have cared less this Christmas. Next Christmas will be much more fun.

What a wonderful Christmas you all had, Sue. Just seeing Nick and Emily enjoying their day (at least the beginning of it is such a joy. Children do make Christmas. How exciting for Nick (and his dad). I wasn't sure Bill would like receiving a Wii but he did and every one that comes to the house enjoys it. They have a winner there.
Lucy definitely looks like she is enjoying Christmas as much as the rest of you. LOL
I'm glad the weather cooperated and you were even able to go swimming on Christmas day.
